TEAM PARTNERSHIP

Who has the greater responsibility for raising kids spiritually? Parents or the Church?

Let’s face it, kids who attend Sunday School may get 26-52 hours of Christian training per year.  compare this to the many hours of exposure to social media, or secular education or other negative influences.

Therefore, you the parent, the grandparent, the guardian are highly important in spiritually impacting your child/ren, capitalizing on the time in your home!

It is very important to reach and ground children spiritually while they are young and receptive. As it is, many of those Christian children who have attended sunday school, stop going to church after 18! (See THE vision for more details.)

SO HOW DO YOU HELP KIDS CARRY THEIR FAITH INTO ADULTHOOD?

aFTER ACCEPTING JESUS, KIDS ARE HUNGRY FOR GOD AND RESPOND TO HIM LIKE ADULTS. THEY DO NOT HAVE A JUNIOR HOLY SPIRIT. KIDS NEED TO BE GROUNDED IN THE MEAT OF THE WORD, EXPERIENCE HIS PRESENCE, AND LEARN HOW TO MINISTER, GETTING TRAINING IN THE SUPERNATURAL to become spiritual champions!

Therefore, with knowledge of the Word and personal experiences with God, Kids are more apt to develop a strong faith into adulthood.

Although the greater responsibility falls on the parent for their child’s spiritual wellbeing, it is important for the church to come alongside in support through their Children’s Ministry and other avenues.

This website has been developed to give both parent and the church the ministry tools to help raise up your child spiritually to become Spiritual Champions!

Church & Children’s Ministry

A church, that prioritizes monies and resources for children’s ministry is important.  But even with the best and newest resources, Becky Fischer, of Kids in Ministry International, who has spoken internationally at churches, has heard from kids that “Sunday School is boring”.

She has also gleaned that many of them have not been given the meat of the Word, but only Bible stories.  they need more!

Therefore, a Children’s ministry where children can experience God’s presence, be grounded in the meat of the Word, as well as having an emphasis of equipping and training in the supernatural is ideal.

This means kids learn how to pray for the sick, how to intercede, learn to hear God’s voice, learn about the prophetic, how to worship in His presence etc.   This therefore goes beyond entertainment and teaching basic Bible stories.

The church looks at the children as brothers and sisters in God’s family, having their part to play in the Body of Christ, with the same Holy Spirit as adults.

So it goes without saying that, a church that comes alongside parents, supporting them in their parenting role is highly important.
